Makes Purple has a long relationship with digital marketing agency Steak. Having initially been asked to help develop the soft skills of members of the client service team, a full Talent Management programme was subsequently introduced.
This programme provides a combination of structured learning, coaching and mentoring on both a one-to-one basis and as a group to the account directors and managers. Personal development plans were drawn up, processes were reviewed and refined and individual agendas were drawn up. Subjects addressed varied from role-specific such as the role of an account manager, account management planning and creating client contact plans to the more generic such as time management, leadership and soft skills development.
